BALINESE
STANDARD
GENERAL
The ideal
Balinese is a svelte, dainty cat with long tapering
lines, very lithe and muscular, in excellent physical
condition. The coat is medium long and silky, slightly
longer around the neck and long on the tail to form a
brush or plume. Body, points, and eye colour conform in
all respects to the comparable Siamese varieties; the
only difference is in hair length.
TAIL
Bone
structure long, thin and tapering to a point. Hair long
and spreading out to form a plume.
COAT
Medium long
over the body, longer around the neck, and on the tail
to form a plume. Fine and silky texture, without any
undercoat.
JAVANESE
STANDARD
GENERAL
The oriental
Longhair conforms in all respects to the comparable
Oriental Shorthairs for type, coat colour and eye colour.
Length and texture of coat are the same as for the
Balinese.
TAIL
Bone
structure long, thin and tapering to a point. Hair long
and spreading out to form a plume.
COAT
Medium long over the body, longer
around the neck, and on the tail to form a plume.
Fine and silky texture, without any undercoat.
ORIENTAL
AND SIAMESE STANDARD
The standard
for the Orientals is the same as the Javanese only they
have a short hair coat.
The standard
for the Siamese is the same as the Balinese only they
have a short hair coat.
